The story
Bonafide launched in 2017 out of South Carolina with a single fixation: build the fishing kayak that anglers themselves wanted. Founder Luther Cifers had run YakAttack for years — he knew every shortcoming of every hull on the market. The SS127 was the first Bonafide and the gold standard for Sit/Stand fishing — wide enough to stand and cast all day, fast enough to cover water. The XTR130, P127 Propel pedal, RVR river series, and EX123 Expedition followed.
